Can quantum science unravel the mysteries of our reality? In this live interview, journalist Inma León (RTVE) will talk with Canadian physicist Chris Ferrie, author of the provocative popular science book Quantum Bullshit (2023).

Ferrie, known for his clear and critical approach to science and its misunderstandings, is also a prolific author of children's books (among which Quantum Physics for Babies , 2013, stands out). Ferrie's academic work lies at the intersection of quantum theory, applied mathematics, artificial intelligence, and technology education, addressing both technical problems and global quantum literacy. In his new book for adults, Ferrie tackles with humor and precision one of the most frequent problems in the digital age: the misappropriation of quantum concepts by wellness gurus, pseudosciences, New Age discourses , and even marketing companies. Quantum Bullshit is an open—but also educational—critique of the misuse of scientific language to lend credibility to baseless claims.
