She is a professor of Asian and Contemporary Art in the Faculty of Geography and History at the Complutense University of Madrid. She has published The paintings of Ajanta. Theatre of Nature in Classical India (2007), a monograph on Anish Kapoor (2006), Flavors and Languages: 15 Key Dishes (2004) and Dictionary of Universal Mythology (2000).

He currently leads the R&D&I plan project. Transculturality, hybridity and globalization in contemporary art. East-West.
