Francis Hinojosa

Francis Hinojosa (Mexico City, 1954) is one of Mexico's leading authors of children's literature. Shortly after completing his literary studies, he began writing poetry before turning to stories and novels for children. In 1984, he won the IBBY Award for his book The old woman who ate peopleHe has published ten more books with FCE. This year he was selected by Conaculta as an ambassador to represent and promote children's and young adult literature in Mexico.
