Jordi Albert began studying trumpet at the age of eight. He studied at the Castellón Professional Conservatory with Professor Juan Serra. During this time, he also explored jazz and completed his music education degree with the highest honors.
Since 2003, he has been the artistic and pedagogical coordinator of the music department at the Universitat Jaume I in Castellón. He currently teaches Improvisation and Trumpet at the SUTM Higher School and at the "Vida y Movimiento" Higher School of Music at the Ollín Yolitzli Cultural Center in Mexico City, and is a guest professor of trumpet and Alexander Technique at the Higher Institute of Art in Cuba.
