Jorge Alemán

Jorge Alemán teaches at the New Center for Psychoanalytic Studies and is a member of the Lacanian School of Psychoanalysis of the Freudian Field in Spain, the European School of Psychoanalysis, and the World Association of Psychoanalysis. He has edited several psychoanalytic publications, including the Psychoanalytic Series and Psychoanalytic Studies.

Among his latest books are: Lacan: Heidegger . Psychoanalysis in the task of thinking (1998), Lacan in postmodern reason (2000), The unconscious: existence and sexual difference (2001) or Drifts of capitalist discourse. Notes on psychoanalysis and politics (2003).

He regularly contributes to specialized journals in the fields of psychoanalysis, philosophy, and art, as well as to various forums for debate on current thought.
