Julian Rodriguez
The writer Julian Rodriguez (Ceclavín, Cáceres, 1968) has published numerous books in recent years: the novel The improbable, a volume containing three short novels, The shadow and the twilight and an autobiographical book entitled A cheap holiday amidst the misery of others, for which he was chosen as a FNAC New Talent and with which he began a cycle he has called "Pieces of Resistance", of which he is already writing a second part, entitled Crops.
His second novel was published in 2006, No need, chosen by the newspaper critics El País as one of the best Spanish-language fiction books of 2006 and winner of the RNE Critical Eye Award. He is currently the literary director of a small independent publishing house: Periférica.
