Miguel Álvarez-Fernández He is a sound artist, musicologist, and curator. Since 2008, he has directed and presented the emblematic program Ars Sonora on Radio Clásica, part of Radio Nacional de España, which is conceived as "an open ear to international sound and radio art." He studied composition at the San Lorenzo de El Escorial Conservatory, later expanding his studies in Germany and other Spanish institutions. His work as a sound artist and composer has been presented in Europe and the United States. In 2011, he received the IV Cura Castillejo Prize. In 2012, he was one of the driving forces behind the Bachelor's Degree in Musical Creation at the European University of Madrid, where he taught until 2018.
