Miguel Casado

Miguel Casado (Valladolid, 1954) is a poet, critic, and translator. His poetic work includes Winter (1985)Passenger status (1986), Inventory (Hyperion Prize 1987), False movement (1993), The Automatic Woman (1996) Felt shop (2004) and The feeling of sight (2015). He has devoted his critical attention especially to contemporary Spanish poetry and general questions of poetics, in books such as From walking on ice (2001) Poetry as thought (2003)The experience of being foreign (2009)The word knows (2012) o Literally and in every sense (2015); he has also been responsible for accompanying the edition of the complete poetry of Fernando Pessoa (Abada Ed.) with his essays. He has translated, among other poets, Arthur Rimbaud, Francis Ponge and Bernard Noël.
