Paulino Viota (Santander, 1948). Filmmaker. Author of Contacts (1970, restored by the Spanish Film Archive in 2010 and part of the Collection of the Reina Sofía National Art Centre Museum), Duration (1970, part of the Collection of the Reina Sofía National Art Centre Museum), With tooth and nail (1977-78) y Body to body (1982). His complete works, which also include several short films from 1966 to 1974, have been released by Intermedio DVD. Since the early 80s, Viota has dedicated himself to the study and teaching of film. He has been a professor at Pompeu Fabra University in Barcelona, ​​at CECC-Centre d'Estudis Cinematogràfics de Catalunya, at Bande à part Film School (Barcelona), and at the Cantabria Film Archive, as well as a lecturer at major Spanish cultural and film institutions.
