Rodrigo de la O

Rodrigo de la O He holds a PhD in architecture and is a researcher in architectural theory and history. He also works on the theory and practice of conservation of cultural landscapes, historic gardens, and other forms of cultural heritage, primarily from the 20th century. He is currently a postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Architectural Composition at the School of Architecture, Polytechnic University of Madrid. In 2018, he received the José Castillejo Fellowship at the Hertziana Library, Max Planck Institute for Art History, in Rome. He has been an Academic Guest at the Institute for the History and Theory of Architecture (gta) at ETH Zurich and an independent scholar at the Canadian Centre for Architecture (CCA). He is the curator of the exhibition Atlas of Architectural Theory(ies) en el Círculo de Bellas Artes de MadridHis articles have been published in journals such as Architectural Theory Review, RA Architecture Magazine, LA+, Planning Perspectives, Studies in the History of Gardens & Designed Landscapes o Notebook.
