El Círculo de Bellas Artes Last July, it launched a new virtual reality program. It is the first virtual cinema experience in Spainwith sessions every half hour, Monday through Sunday. For the next few months, the VR Space's programming will focus on the exploration and protection of our planet. 

Since its founding, Greenpeace has used audiovisual media to document its activism and showcase the ecosystems it strives to protect. Recently, the organization has begun incorporating virtual reality into its work as a tool to help raise viewers' awareness of the need to preserve remote environments.

Greenpeace is a global movement comprised of more than 3 million people in 55 countries, working to end environmental abuses. Their virtual reality experiences offer the opportunity to explore remote and inaccessible places, as well as to learn about the measures needed to protect them from human-caused damage.

The new VR Space program includes 3 immersive 360-degree experiences :

[df-subtitle]Journey to Antarctica (with Javier Bardem)[/df-subtitle] Duration: 7'40" · Year: 2018

In January 2018, Javier Bardem participated in an expedition to document Antarctica. The expedition included scuba diving, and this activity was filmed in virtual reality for the first time. This experience allows viewers to immerse themselves in the beauty of Antarctica and, in turn, promotes a campaign for the creation of the world's largest marine protected area in the waters of the white continent.

In 2017, a scientific expedition ventured into the ocean to study the impact of plastic pollution. This virtual reality experience takes you through beautiful locations like Bass Rock, home to the largest gannet colony, and the Shiant Islands with their incredible wildlife, alongside plastic bottles, containers, and debris. The equivalent of a truckload of plastic enters our oceans every minute.
