From the outset, HISPASAT has promoted the development and implementation of 4K technology, which quadruples the number of pixels on a high-definition screen. This results in a resolution four times higher than conventional high definition, providing image sharpness that gives the user a very high perception of quality and a more immersive experience. To give greater visibility to this technology and expand the content of its Hispasat 4K channel, HISPASAT has launched the Hispasat 4K International Short Film Festival, one of the first competitions in the world dedicated to this innovative format. Two free roundtables will also be held: 16:30 PM (Post-production and 4K digitization) and 17:30 (Dissemination and distribution of 4K content), both in the Valle-Inclán Room of the CBA.
