In 80s Spain, amidst widespread rejection of NATO and American imperialism, Ted Boynton, working in Barcelona as a sales representative for a Chicago company, tries to get over a broken heart. After a visit from his cousin Fred, his life is turned upside down, and he finds himself embroiled in a conspiracy against the government.
The screening will be accompanied by a discussion with Mercedes Monmany (writer and literary critic), Ignacio Vidal-Folch (writer and journalist) and Manuel Hidalgo (writer and screenwriter).
