After a suicide bomber blows up her neighborhood, Tai, a young Israeli woman of French descent, writes a letter to an imaginary Palestinian man, asking him questions and expressing her rejection of the conflict. The letter is placed in a bottle and thrown into the sea near Gaza by her brother, who is serving in the military. A week later, Tai receives a reply from a young Palestinian man.
