A musical adaptation of Cervantes' famous novel. Somewhere in La Mancha, the nobleman Alonso Quijano obsessively reads chivalric romances. Convinced of their authenticity, he decides to become a knight-errant and venture out into the world in search of fame and adventure. One of the first things he does is change his name to Don Quixote, thus creating one of the most important literary characters of all time.
