Helsinki. Young Khaled arrives hidden on a cargo ship from Syria. His asylum application is rejected, but he decides to stay anyway. Meanwhile, a nondescript businessman named Wikström decides to change his life and open a run-down restaurant. One afternoon, their paths cross at the restaurant's entrance.
