Synopsis of The green ray

The green ray It is the fifth installment of Éric Rohmer's "Comedies and Proverbs", included in this tribute for the 100th anniversary of his birthIn it, Delphine is a young woman who finds herself alone at the last minute, just before her vacation is supposed to begin. Despite her parents' attempts to persuade her to go with them, Delphine decides to travel to the Alps alone. What begins as a solitary adventure only intensifies her feelings of loneliness. However, after overhearing a conversation about Jules Verne's novel "The Green Ray," things seem to begin to change.

At the Venice Film Festival in 1986, she won the Golden Lion, the Ciak (the audience award), the FIPRESCI award, and the award for best actress.
