A courageous film director, an "enfant terrible" in his early days, combative against censorship, always seeking the limits of freedom of expression, chronicler of the darkest part of the transition, will fall into the hells of drug addiction and for more than a decade will be forgotten and sometimes repudiated, but he will manage to get out of ostracism to return to making films, that addiction from which he could never break free.
