This documentary recovers the memory of an endangered language and the culture that sustains it. Haketia, a Judeo-Spanish variant spoken in northern Morocco, is today a fragile heritage that survives in the memories, voices, and stories of those who have kept it alive. Through interviews and testimonies, the film traces an intimate journey through an identity marked by exile, transmission, and the coexistence of Spanish, Jewish, and Moroccan traditions.
