John and the Hole It is the best study of pure, unadulterated evil in recent years, comparable only to classics by Michael Haneke such as F o The white ribbon or more recent titles as chilling as PlaygroundA short but gripping story that boasts a cast including Michael C. Hall (Dexter) and Taissa Farmiga (American Horror Story).
John lives with his bourgeois family in a spacious house with a garden. But his taciturn submissiveness makes him an odd boy. One day, he discovers a huge hole near his house, a kind of unfinished bunker, and sees the opportunity he's been waiting for. So, he plans to lock his family inside and take possession of the house and his life, without anyone holding him in any position of authority. But the plan is a never-ending idea, one that John will be forced to improvise.
