About the film
To mark the deposit of Rosario Castellanos's (Mexico City, 1925 – Tel Aviv, 1974) legacy in the Cervantes Institute's Vault of Letters, we organized a screening of this biographical film as a tribute. Rosario Castellanos was one of the most significant voices in Mexican and Latin American literature. A writer, poet, essayist, and diplomat, she dedicated her work to reflecting on identity, the female condition, and social justice, leaving a legacy that transcends generations.
