This documentary tells the true story of the 24 hours that sparked a revolution in Iceland. On October 24, 1975, 90% of Icelandic women decided to take a "day off" and refused to work, cook, or take care of children.
This unprecedented act of civil disobedience brought the country to a standstill and sparked significant societal changes. The film celebrates the courage and solidarity of the women who took this brave step and underscores the importance of gender equality rights.
The documentary is a testament to the power of women's collective voice and the impact of their actions on society.
