THE TIGER AND THE SNOW
Attilio is a poet and university professor of poetry at the University for Foreigners in Rome. The year is 2003; the Iraq War has not yet begun, although its presence is palpable. Everyday events barely affect him: he dreams only of Vittoria, the woman he longs to marry. But she wants nothing to do with him. Vittoria then travels to Baghdad to write the biography of an Iraqi poet.
