A Train to Pampa Blanca is the story of a journey on a very special train, the story of a hospital train. Just three cars, which for 25 years have traveled through northern Argentina providing medical assistance to impoverished communities lacking any other aid. But it is also an exploration of one of the most incomprehensible realities in Latin America. Despite Argentina being a food exporter and possessing some of the most fertile land on the continent, millions of people suffer from malnutrition, tuberculosis, Chagas disease, and countless other ailments that condemn them before they are even born.
