Back IDEARIESThe biennial meeting of the Social and Solidarity Economy, which will celebrate its 15th edition in Madrid from June 17 to 19. Círculo de Bellas Artes will host the sessions on June 17th within the framework of Círculo Solidary.

Over these thirty years, IDEARIA has established itself as a strategic meeting point between the various agents of the Social and Solidarity Economy in the country, a key space for generating synergies between organizations, solidarity economy companies, collectives, social movements and consumers.

It is precisely this generation of synergies and this inter-cooperation that is the leitmotif of this new edition, which seeks to delve deeper into the formulas of business cooperation that are, without a doubt, an intrinsic characteristic of the ESS and fundamental for the eco-social transformation that current society requires.

The pandemic crisis, which has only exacerbated the impacts of the multiple crises we were already experiencing from the global capitalist crisis, has highlighted the need to come together again and rethink collectively in order to continue developing joint alternatives, as we have been announcing for some time: we need another way of doing economics, another economic system, that puts people and the ecosystem at the center.
