SYNOPSIS

Antonio Gamoneda: Writing and Alchemy is a documentary film that explores the poetic thought of Antonio Gamoneda , both in its purely aesthetic dimension and in a speculative one. The film intersperses the poet's reflections on his work with biographical materials and readings of poems by Antonio Gamoneda himself.

The material was filmed throughout 2007, mostly at Antonio Gamoneda's home, where poets Amalia Iglesias and Julia Piera conducted a series of interviews. The filming also included a trip with Antonio Gamoneda to various locations related to his life and artistic world, and numerous photographic materials from the poet's personal archive.

EDITION

The documentary will be released on DVD along with a book-CD compilation of Antonio Gamoneda's poetic readings in el Círculo de Bellas Artes, which will be distributed in specialized stores in Spain and Latin America.
