Constellations (CBA / SECC / AECID, 2010, 46′)

Constellations is a reflection in images on some central concepts of the work of Walter Benjamin, within a project The CBA's far-reaching exploration of the German philosopher's work. It comprises a collection of audiovisual excerpts—film scenes, photographs, paintings, sound recordings, animations, and historical documents—arranged according to a methodology developed by Benjamin himself. The piece is divided into six chapters and is accompanied by instructions explaining the meaning and origin of the materials used.
