El Círculo de Bellas Artes, organizing institution of the Escuela SUR, awards 2 scholarships for the new cohort of the 2025-2026 academic year of Fundamental Course in Arts and Artistic ProfessionsFacilitating access to training for students residing in any European Union country, selected based on their background, potential, and motivation. Candidates must guarantee a level of Spanish proficiency equivalent to B1 or higher.

Endowment

Each SUR-CBA Scholarship covers 50% of the tuition* for the Fundamental Course in Arts and Artistic Professions.

*The total cost of tuition is 5000 euros.

Application and award

Calendar:

• Call for applications opens: April 7, 2025.
• Application deadline: April 28, 2025. Until 11:00 AM, Spanish time.

The deadline to confirm acceptance of the scholarship will be 5 days from the date of notification of the decision.

Documentation and procedure for applying for a scholarship:

To apply for a SUR-CBA Scholarship for the 2025-2026 academic year, you must complete the form below , attaching the following documentation, before the closing date of the call for applications:

• Curriculum vitae.
• Letter of motivation explaining your interest and objectives for studying the Fundamental Course of Arts and Artistic Professions of the Escuela SUR del Círculo de Bellas Artes.
• Letter of recommendation.
• Artistic background. Training, completed works, artistic portfolio. (Optional)
• Additional documentation such as university degree, Spanish language certificate, etc. (Optional)
• Photocopy of ID card or passport.

Strategic

The address of the Escuela SUR will select the scholarship recipients. The process follows these stages:

• Review of received documentation.
• Candidate pre-selection.
• Personal interview with pre-selected candidates in person, virtually (via Skype, Zoom, or another similar platform) or by telephone.
• Awarding of scholarships.

Acceptance

Selected foreign students must submit a copy of their plane ticket and passport, visa or residence permit that allows them to stay in Spain during the course before June 30th.
