The singer-songwriter of folk-rock Rainforest Elliott Murphy has released more than twenty albums since his acclaimed debut (Aquashow(1973). His storytelling prowess and his measured, personal lyrics have made him a cult songwriter in and beyond North America. Born in New York and based in Paris since the 1980s, Murphy continues to perform and release albums. His latest work is Notes from the underground (2008) and presents it at the CBA accompanied by his band, The Normandy All Stars.
