At the same time, we will not forget that in 2016, Buero Vallejo, who, along with Valle and Lorca, completes the most sublime triad of 20th-century Spanish playwrights, would have turned 100. And, of course, we will not forget that 400 years ago, almost simultaneously, Cervantes and Shakespeare, two geniuses of the theater, died, although the one from Alcalá is denied the crown that was once snatched from him by that "monster of nature" called Lope.

So, Max Estrella's Night returns to its old haunts, the streets of Madrid. And on this occasion, commemorating The Magic Lamp , the renowned philosopher Javier Gomá will speak from the pulpit of the Casa de Correos, the site of the encounter between Max and the anarchist Mateo . Then, in front of the Congress building and beside the statue of the One-Armed Man of Lepanto, the politician Antonio Miguel Carmona , recently arrived from the refugee camps in Greece, will bring us, from the cradle of our culture, the desperate cry of a human being that Europe is not hearing. Gomá and Carmona, with their insights.

Xerardo Pardo de Vera , arriving from the land of Don Ramón, will guide the pilgrims from number 84 Calle Mayor, where the anarchist Mateo committed his misdeed. Men of the press, such as Manuel Gómez —one of the founders of this pilgrimage— Peio Riaño —a novelist with a scalpel as a cultural gadfly—and Javier Villán —a poet as a merciless critic—will be both protagonists and witnesses to this reclamation of the street by the bohemians.
