Abe Rábade Trio

The career of pianist Abe Rábade is highlighted by the presentation of the work The movement of dreams in the church of the University of Santiago de Compostela in 2009. In 2010 he published ziggurat, an album with six original compositions and a version by Federico Mompou, chosen as Best Jazz Album at the III Edition of the Independent Music Awards (UFI).

Abe Rábade studied at the Santiago de Compostela Historical Conservatory and at Berklee College of Music, where he earned a Bachelor of Music degree with honors in Jazz Composition and Piano Performance (1999). Throughout his career, he has participated in international jazz seminars in Europe and America and, since 2000, has been the Artistic Director of the Pontevedra Permanent Jazz Seminar (SPJ), alongside Paco Charlín. He has collaborated on numerous musical projects with artists such as Jeff Harrington, Perico Sambeat, John O'Gallagher, Jorge Pardo, Chris Kase, Kurt Rosenwinkel, Chonchi Heredia, Javier Colina or Zé Eduardo, and his work has been recognized with awards such as the Piano Performance Award from Berklee College of Music (1999), the Tete Montoliú Award for Revelation Pianist in Spain (2001) or the Martín Códax Award in the Jazz and Improvised Music Category at the Galician Music Awards (2013).

The  under 16 years Children will be allowed access to CBA shows where alcoholic beverages are sold, provided they are accompanied by their mother, father, or legal guardian. Any adult may act as guardian and, to do so, must complete and sign the following form. Valid identity document and hand it to the access controller at the venue along with copies of the minor's and guardian's ID cards. Under no circumstances may minors under 16 years of age consume alcoholic beverages.
