Ana Tijoux is a Chilean artist who protests to the rhythm of hip-hop. A composer, lyricist, arranger, and winner of an award Latin Grammy, has almost one million monthly views on Spotify and his talent has been endorsed by musicians such as Thom Yorke (Radiohead) to Iggy Popwho are among her admirers. Her lyrics are full of honesty and socio-political sensitivity, and she is considered one of the most important Latin American rappers on the international scene.
Her recognition in Latin America began in the late nineties as a femcee for the group Makiza, with whom she released three albums.
