As with everything in Don Quixote, the episodes dedicated to Barataria Island allow for several interpretations, which we will approach poetically. On one hand, there is the interpretation of the abuses of power by the oligarchies, who feel and perform that the people, personified by Sancho, are there to endure whatever they decide. But, from another perspective, it will also serve to explore the humor within the poetic and, in any case, to examine the limits of humor.
