Daniel del Pino (piano)

Ludwig van Beethoven's early piano compositions find their direct antecedent in the music of Franz Joseph Haydn. On this occasion, inaugurating the cycle Beethoven TodayThe concert pianist Daniel del Pino will perform five sonatas by the Bonn musician, alternating with studies by György Ligeti. and Francisco Lara:  

La Sonata No. 1 by Beethoven It forms a trilogy with the following two, and all three, taken together, share innovative construction approaches and a remarkably broad development. For their part, the Sonatas No. 6 y 7, influenced by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, possess a certain improvisational character, and the No. 20 It is shorter and simpler. The program is completed by two Ligeti studies and the Madrid premiere of a work commissioned by the CNDM.
