Granada It addresses the theme of loss, alternating episodes from the life of a contemporary family—unable to cope with the death of the father and burdened by a dark secret of a romantic nature—with the drama experienced by Juana la Loca. Both storylines are linked through a visit to the city made in the past by two of the protagonists.
Yannis Kalavrianós (Thessaloniki, 1974) graduated in medicine and theater studies from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. In addition to being a playwright, he is an actor and theater director, as well as co-founder of the Sforaris theater company. He enjoys enormous prestige in Greece, and his plays are performed on the country's main stages. One of them, Sons and daughters, translated by Alberto Conejero, was included in a cycle of dramatized readings at the National Drama Center in Madrid.
