OPEN WEAVE? BECKETT WEAVE | OPEN WEAVE
A play based on the works of Samuel Beckett, in which two men and two women, all followers of the author, are summoned by letter to an abandoned train station. The dramatic power of the characters generates situations of humor, tenderness, and emotion, imbuing the audience with a profound experience of the meaning of life.
Synopsis
The play begins when four people, all fans of Samuel Beckett's work, are summoned by an anonymous letter to a train station. Drawing on their similarities to one of the Irish writer's most dramatic characters, Belacqua Shuah, each actor will link situations together, bringing to life the paradigmatic characters of Beckett's work: Vladimir, Estragon, Krapp, Winnie, Pozzo, Lucky, Moran, Molloy, and Malone.
