A photography exhibition that captures the unique vision of fourteen Latin American artists on the capital of Spain.

The Madrid Mirada project is based on the proposal to invite fourteen Latin American artists to work in Madrid for a week, creating a photographic project without any prior requirements or thematic limitations. Selection criteria for a project of this kind can be quite diverse; in this case, the decision was made to choose individuals from the art world. The project was therefore not conceived as a report on the city, but rather as a way to transform Madrid into a workspace for artists, allowing each one complete freedom to decide how the city should be reflected in their work.

The proposals presented, characterized by their diverse nature, highlight the plurality of possibilities that photography offers to art today. They include series composed of individual photographs, polyptychs, photographic objects, photographs that interact with their own shadows, stereoscopic images, video, and sound recordings.
