Love as a form of knowledge: Rilke
Rainer Maria Rilke's experience of love is grounded in the idea of merging with the other, a process that leads to learning and inner transformation. This love as a form of knowledge takes shape in *Rainer Maria Rilke and Love*, an unpublished anthology presented by philologist Carmen Gómez García, featuring a carefully curated selection of poems and prose texts (letters, reflections, intimate writings, etc.), their translation, and a prologue.
Few writers have thought and felt love with such intensity and lucidity as Rainer Maria Rilke, and on the centenary of his death, this publication returns us to the poet in his most human and profound dimension from the axis that structures all his work: love.
The author is accompanied by fellow philologist Linda Mäeding and poet Esther Ramón.
