Science in Schools | III Conference on Art, Education and Citizenship

Science is the focus of the third edition of these conferences, organized by the Organization of Ibero-American States for Education, Science and Culture (OEI), the Educational Area of FUHEM and el Círculo de Bellas Artes (CBA).

Scientific knowledge should be presented as an educational adventure related to all subjects in the school curriculum, capable of arousing curiosity, promoting networking, stimulating reflection, and providing the potential of what is experienced with one's own hands.

Science, with all its contribution to the progress of humanity, is also an essential part of the education of citizens of today and tomorrow: critical voices, shared values for a better world for all, and the necessary open-mindedness demanded by the paths of reflection and debate that are at the very core of the scientific method.
