The City and Science Biennial arrives at Círculo, an open meeting to explore quantum mysteries in the International Year of Quantum Science and Technology.
The City and Science Biennial returns
El Círculo It hosts a new edition of the City and Science Biennial, an event that is establishing itself as a privileged space for dialogue between science, art, and the public. This gathering invites participants to rethink the relationship between knowledge, innovation, and culture from an open, participatory, and multidisciplinary perspective.
This year, the Biennial takes on a special dimension: it joins the celebrations of the International Year of Quantum Science and Technology, declared by the UN. This anniversary coincides with a fundamental milestone: 2025 marks the centenary of the birth of quantum mechanics, one of the most momentous scientific revolutions of the 20th century, which continues to shape our present and future.
An invitation to actively participate in knowledge.
To explore new ways of imagining the world we inhabit.
Quantum science celebrates its anniversary
Quantum science will be the central theme of this year's event, which will offer a diverse and stimulating program: lectures, workshops, art installations, debates, and activities open to the public, all designed to bring the latest scientific advances closer to the social and urban fabric. It's a forum to share, reflect on, and experience how research and creativity intertwine to address major contemporary challenges.
The Biennial will bring together scientists, artists, thinkers, and citizens from diverse disciplines and backgrounds, fostering critical thinking and shared curiosity. It is an invitation to actively participate in knowledge and explore new ways of imagining the world we inhabit.
