Debate. Instructions for Dislocation: How to Do Philosophy as a Philosopher

Led by Ana Carrasco Conde, Emma Ingala, Amanda Nuñez, and Nuria Sánchez Madrid, authors of the book Beside themselves. Reasons to lose their mindsA feminist book, but not in the usual sense of the term—that is, not because the book's subject is feminism, but because its methods, approaches, forms, and perspectives are feminist. It addresses major contemporary issues that, in themselves, represent an attempt to think differently about our own time: What does "Beyond themselves" mean? How can such a thing be done? And if it is done, does it have academic consequences? Does freedom of thought have a price? Is it truly possible to think differently?

Some of the authors of this book will discuss this. It's not about talking about philosophy: it's about doing it.
