The new issue of Minerva magazine (no. 41) is practically a monograph on the themes that shaped the 2023 City and Science Biennial: gene-editing technologies and the fight against aging and disease, the challenges of Artificial Intelligence and climate change, astrobiology, neuroscience... But underlying all these themes, once again, is the pressing need to break down the walls that still separate the scientific field from the humanities, in order to advance towards a better understanding and more democratic decision-making on issues that are absolutely vital for the entire population.

We have invited the poet and scientist to discuss this topic. Carlos Briones, a passionate advocate of the advantages of integrating arts, sciences and humanities Elea Giménez Toledo, an expert in science communication and co-curator of the Madrid section of the City and Science Biennial. The conversation will be moderated by the journalist Irene G. RubioThe following will participate in the presentation of the event: Jordi Marti, Secretary of State for Culture and Juan Miguel Hernández León, president del Círculo de Bellas Artes.
