The R&D Forumel Círculo de Bellas Artes aspires to become the meeting point between research in Arts and Humanities and various economic and social agentsIn order to maximize innovation and the social impact of these disciplines, the name R&D&C alludes to the conviction that innovation in the artistic and humanistic field is articulated in notions that begin with the letter cCulture, creation, social commitment, criticism, concepts, creativity…

This innovation program offers great potential for exchange and mutual benefit for all stakeholders (research groups, cultural entities, companies and institutions receiving the transfer, media), but above all for the citizenship, the ultimate recipient of all activities that reinforce the social impact of all disciplines that make up the Arts and Humanities.

Al first event of the R&D&C Forum, which will take place on May 20th en el Círculo de Bellas ArtesThroughout the year, a series of meetings will be held, organized based on the most promising strategic lines for the
knowledge transfer in these areas:

Digital humanities (artificial intelligence, computational linguistics, digital society, digital art); Communication Challenges (fake news, post-truth, freedom of expression, social networks, new forms of audiovisual communication); Innovation and social intervention from the arts and humanities (mediation, cooperation, integration, migrations); Heritage and tourism (knowledge, conservation, exploitation); Arts and Humanities + Health (bioethics, humanistic training of doctors, therapeutic benefits of culture and the arts); Arts and Humanities + Business (coaching, philosophical consulting, business ethics, argumentation theory and negotiation); Science and art (possibilities of fruitful cross-pollination between experimental sciences and artistic expression).
