However, no one can say with certainty what the scenarios will be like for humanity and other life forms. Game of Kin takes advantage of this very uncertainty to imagine these futures and their potential protagonists.

The game begins with a scenario of life collapsing on Earth, in which surviving species must establish relationships of mutation, hybridization, mutualism, commensalism, or parasitism to adapt to extreme environmental conditions and survive.
