Within the Spanish-German Meeting Space 2011Klaus Herbers and Walther Bernecker will respectively deliver the lectures German travelers and pilgrims in the Iberian Peninsula in the Middle Ages y Spain and Germany at decisive momentsHerbers, one of Germany's leading experts on medieval Spanish history, will discuss the image that German travelers and pilgrims formed of the Iberian Peninsula. Bernecker, for his part, will address the relationship between Germany and Spain during the Spanish transition to democracy and throughout German reunification.
