Medicine and philosophy

Weather

In this second edition of the series, we will continue to explore the connections between these two disciplines, this time focusing on time and its various ways of understanding it. While medicine approaches it as a biological variable, linked to aging, healing, and the body's rhythms, philosophy questions it as a fundamental dimension of human existence and experience.

Through a series of roundtables and a keynote address, the series is conceived as a space for interdisciplinary reflection from which to explore the complexity of time. The sessions will analyze the convergence of physics and philosophy in the conceptualization of time, delve into its role in fields such as cardiology, and examine contemporary phenomena such as acceleration in the age of immediacy and overstimulation.

A set of questions that invites us to rethink not only how we measure and experience time, but also what forms of life emerge from that relationship.
