Practical textile transformation workshop with Clara Macías in which different artisanal techniques of recycling, repair, textile deconstruction and creative transformation from disused denim garments will be explored.

Through manual work and the reuse of existing materials, participants will learn to intervene and give new meaning to used garments, discovering new possibilities to extend their useful life and foster a more conscious relationship with the clothes we wear.

Beyond learning different techniques, the workshop proposes reflecting on the impact of textile consumption and exploring forms of creation based on reuse, experimentation and care for materials.

Participants must bring one or more denim garments to transform, as well as a basic sewing kit consisting of a needle, thread, scissors, pins, and a measuring tape.
