Visits to the exhibitions

During our open house, el Círculo It unfolds to be explored, discovered, and shared. Throughout the day, the exhibitions will remain open continuously, inviting visitors to explore the history, processes, and ideas that inhabit the building.

We have prepared a series of guided tours and special routes that allow you to delve into both the current exhibitions and the spaces, stories and symbols that run through el Círculo.

In addition to scheduled visits, mediators will be present at various points to share anecdotes, curiosities and key points that invite you to look at the building with different eyes.

 

Minerva and the house she lives in 

A journey through the footsteps of Minerva in el CírculoIts presence in the building, its symbolic weight, and the stories that link it to the institution's identity. An invitation to discover unexpected connections and to read the space through its myths, details, and hidden resonances.

Goya Room

A tour through the history of the building del Círculo de Bellas ArtesFrom its origins to the present day. Through plans, photographs, and original documents, the visit reveals how Antonio Palacios shaped one of the great icons of the Gran Vía, a vibrant space for almost a hundred years.

Picasso Room

A journey back to the 80s and 90s to explore one of the most transformative periods in history.el CírculoA period marked by openness, experimentation, and intense cultural activity that redefined the building as a dynamic space, in dialogue with the artistic practices and debates of its time.

Schedule: 12:00 AM (with curator Oliva María Rubio) and 17 p.m.

A route that crosses el Círculo Through various artistic practices and forms of intervention, the building is activated as a space in use through actions, presences, and gestures, raising questions about its current role and the ways of inhabiting a cultural institution today.
