The Books of My Life: An Essay on a Future Autobiography

For more than half a century, the prestigious writer Ricardo Piglia has recorded his experiences in a diary, which he began writing in his adolescence, when his father, persecuted by the dictatorship, was forced into exile in Mar del Plata: "I started writing a diary at the end of 1957 and I'm still writing it. Many things have changed since then, but I remain faithful to that habit."
