Health and neurotechnologies
In our time, neurotechnologies are garnering significant attention from both the scientific community and society at large. The media now reports almost daily on new, sometimes unsettling, experiments based on brain-machine interfaces. These neurotechnological advances are so relevant and rapid that they raise numerous questions for all sciences and areas of knowledge: not only medicine and biology, but also psychology, computer engineering, ethics, and law.
This session is part of the Neuroscience and Neurotechnology Cycle which, under the general name of law, ethics and neurotechnologies, will be developed throughout 2024. On this occasion we will have Dr. Aníbal M. Astobiza, Researcher, Globernance-Institute of Democratic Governance, and Dr. Jesús Pastor Gómez, Head of Clinical Neurophysiology Service - La Princesa University Hospital.
This activity is part of the project Digital Rights Charter No. 6.
